[New trends from vickong dental] The vickong dental delegation went to Hong Kong to participate in the national intangible cultural heritage "Cheung Chau Tai Ping Qing Jiao" to jointly promote the cultural integration of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

On May 24, the Vickong Dental delegation made a special trip to Hong Kong to participate in the national intangible cultural heritage "Cheung Chau Peace Festival" series of activities. They immersed themselves in the charm of centuries-old folk customs and used culture as a bridge to write a new chapter in Shenzhen-Hong Kong exchanges.

The Tai Ping Qing Jiao Festival has been practiced for more than a hundred years and was officially listed on the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2011. It is a traditional event for Cheung Chau Islanders to pray for blessings, ward off disasters, and pray for peace and prosperity for the country and the people. During the event, the entire island adheres to the ancient motto of "Three Days of Fasting". Colorful flags are flying on the island, safety packages are fragrant, tourists from home and abroad gather together, and the gongs and drums are noisy and lively.

The delegation had an in-depth experience of two core folk customs: "Snatching Bun Mountain" combines competition and praying for blessings, carrying the beautiful wishes of peace and auspiciousness; "Parade with Colors and Scenery" is more classic, in which young actors transform into ancient and modern characters and float in the sky, accompanied by lion dances and gongs and drums teams slowly moving forward, fully displaying the unique style of Lingnan folk customs.
