Before this, I asked about teeth cleaning prices in Macau—the cheapest was 500 RMB, which killed my wallet! I decided to try finding a reputable dental clinic in Zhuhai. After reading tons of online guides, I chose Zhuhai Vickong Dental—and I fell in love with it at first try!
Crossing the border was a breeze. A taxi took less than 10 minutes to reach the clinic building, and I saw a huge signboard just steps from the drop-off point. Inside, the clinic was spotless and orderly, nothing like the oppressive atmosphere of traditional clinics. The front-desk staff were polite; after registration, I was immediately escorted to see the doctor.
Before cleaning, the doctor examined my teeth patiently, pointing out plaque and tartar while explaining the process and precautions in detail—no rush like some Macau clinics. The cleaning was way more comfortable than I expected! The nurse warned me there might be slight soreness, but it was totally bearable. The doctor had a gentle touch and explained every step.
Afterwards, my teeth felt pounds lighter, biting felt fresher, and even hard-to-reach spots I’d never cleaned were spotless! The price was less than a third of Macau’s. The doctor recommended getting teeth cleaned 1–2 times a year for oral health. They offer two types: Comfort Teeth Cleaning and Ultrasonic Cleaning. Since my gums are healthy (no bleeding) and I just needed tartar and stain removal, I chose regular ultrasonic cleaning, which cost 200 RMB. The nurse told me that on weekdays, ultrasonic cleaning with polishing is only 98 RMB per person—weekends cost 200 RMB. I went on Sunday... regret punching my chest! Next time, I’ll definitely come on a weekday. Plus, I booked via WhatsApp, so no registration fee!
Overall, Zhuhai Vickong Dental’s cleaning prices are way lower than Macau’s. No need to suffer expensive Macau dentistry anymore! Crossing to Zhuhai is a steal—affordable and professional. I’m loyal to this clinic from now on!
